Sunsets on Our 9-Year Anniversary
Warren and I are celebrating 9 wonderful years together this year and I cannot believe how fast time flew by! It almost feels like yesterday when he snuck roses in my locker before school.
We anticipated to celebrate this day in other ways, however, had to postpone our plans. I decided to surprise him with a candlelit dinner and then we headed out for a walk to watch the sunset. It was breathtaking.
The beautiful orange hues matched the color of my dress and I found a newfound love for the color orange.
Orange was a color I never really saw myself wearing but it’s become an unexpected (but very pleasant) inspiration.
During our walk, I found many pretty flowers (that also resembled my dress, so pretty!) and I was reminded of something special. Like a flower, we’ve got to be kind and take care of ourselves everyday. Without sunshine and without a little bit of rain, we cannot bloom.
