5 Super Stylish Ways To Wear Flare Pants
SUSTAIN WEAR SERIES VOL. 1.3
Oh I am so excited to share these looks with you because I have been wearing these outfits non-stop.
Believe it or not, this is my first time wearing flare pants and I am so obsessed! They are so flattering on the body no matter what your body type is. I wish I tried this type of jeans a whole lot sooner but I was resistant to wear them for a long time because I thought they would not work for my body type. Boy was I wrong!
Here are a few pointers I use to help me decide whether I want to invite a piece of clothing into my closet or not whenever I feel unsure:
If I don’t absolutely love it, don’t buy it.
Can I picture wearing this article of clothing numerous times? If not, it’s not worth it.
Is this piece of clothing versatile, meaning, it can be paired with many outfits? It’s not worth the investment if the item doesn’t seamlessly work with our other wardrobe pieces.
Without further ado, here’s how I style flare jeans (P.S. If you recreate any of these outfits, I’d love to see them!!).
1. WITH A SWEATER
This is one of my favorite looks because the outfit is very flattering. The high waisted jeans contour the body while the warm beige sweater gives a feminine touch.
2. WITH A BLOUSE
I am totally in love with this outfit! So much so I even wore it on my birthday! Flare pants or flare jeans contour the body beautifully because they are usually high waisted. Tuck the flowy white blouse just a little in the front and the outfit looks stunning!
3. WITH A HALF SLEEVE TURTLENECK
Half sleeve turtlenecks have to be one of my favorite type of tops to wear because they contour the shoulders to the elbows. This outfit is great to wear for brunch or even grocery shopping at the farmer’s market!
4. WITH A BASIC TEE
I borrowed Warren’s shirt for this look and I was honestly really impressed how good a tee pairs with flare pants. I tucked mines because I love the way it looks fitted but you can also tie the shirt in the front.
5. WITH A COAT
Any outfit can instantly be elevated with a simple coat. They are sophisticated, versatile, and pair great with just about anything! Flare pants are no exception.
I recommend wearing flare jeans with a heeled shoe (heels or booties work great) as it really elevates the look as opposed to flat shoes. Flat shoes look great too but heeled shoes elongate the legs and gives a very beautiful sophisticated appeal.
